Our plants are procured from small tropical plant growers in California where quality is above all the biggest priority.
We exclusively ship from California within the United States (+ Alaska and Puerto Rico).
Hawaii: please reach out via email as regulations are more strict. We have successfully shipped but prefer to discuss with you prior!
All store orders are shipped Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays*.
Actual delivery time depends on where you are located and your chosen shipment method but we typically expect between 2-3 business days!
Local Delivery happens on Thursday + Friday.
Our Subscription box is shipped the first week of the month and depending on your location will arrive in 1-3 days!
Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
* We will hold orders if we feel the weather in your area or along the transit route is unsafe for your plants or will result in delayed shipment!
Orders not containing plants ship out all week.
We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
We often upgrade shipping to ensure your plants arrive safely - which means a different carrier may be used than what you purchased. If you require one carrier over another - please leave a note at checkout or via email!
Yes! Most order can be picked up same day. Make sure to choose that method at checkout and we will communicate with you via text to schedule your contactless pickup!
If you do not see that option at checkout, choose a delivery method and reach out to us and we will refund you and schedule your pickup! Alternatively you can email us and we can place a custom order for you.
No problem - it happens! Please email our team within 24 hours at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note additional shipping costs might be added.
Our shipping team will look at the weather on your delivery route and package your order accordingly! All orders will include insulation and or heat packs where necessary free of charge.
If there is a storm in your area we may hold your order till things clear up to ensure the best possible quality at delivery!
Once we receive an order our team will hand pick the plants from our greenhouse. We hand the plants off to our packaging team who prepares and packs the plants for shipping! Lastly, our Team collects the orders and sends them off to you!
Our plants are shipped in custom cones and boxes to ensure a healthy delivered plant. At Fig + Freya we recycle as much as possible, so some boxes may come with a bit of love! But don't worry, our team has ensured the integrity of our boxes are in tack and will keep your plant safe and healthy throughout their journey!
We always aim for make sure our customers receive the healthiest plants, but we understand that a lot can happen from the moment the plants leave our greenhouse until they reach your door.
If you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help.
For orders that arrive in unhealthy condition because of shipping errors, we will happily issue a refund or arrange one replacement order.
For refunds, please allow 3-5 business days to process.

We cannot guarantee we can find what you are looking for but our team will connect with our vast network of greenhouses and nurseries across the U.S to find your wishlist plant!
Our 4 Roots subscription box deliveries a plant, your choice of pot, a care guide and your choice of either plant parents tools or 2 cuttings with each shipment.
Change up your box and frequency on your own terms (which means yes, you can pause or cancel at any time)!
We will ship your first box within 5 days of your first order. After that, your order will ship out with all other boxes the first week of every month!

Absolutely! We want to ensure this box is as customized to you as possible so you have full control over your account. Just log into the portal and adjust accordingly!
Nope! We don't believe in that here - life happens.
You can cancel or pause at any time. We have people who are on their 24th box and still going strong and others who decreased their frequency because they have reached their home jungle goals!
Of course! We offer 1, 3, 6 and 12 month options. You will be billed up front for the number of shipments you choose + a flat rate shipping fee. Each month we will deliver the box to your recipient!
The name says it all - just the plant! You'll receive a surprise 4" plant every month to add to your collection!

Plants ship in the number of boxes that will ensure plants have the safest travel!
8"-10" Plants have a custom box whereas smaller plants can be grouped together in a single box!
You will receive notifications when your order has shipped and which items belong to which shipment.

The name Fig and Freya came from Fig = Fiddle leaf Fig and the goddess Freya!

Here at FIG + FREYA we aren’t about keeping up with the Joneses. If it doesn’t bring you or one of our teammates joy, then we don’t bother stocking it. We have no interest in popularized plants that sit uncared for on the window sill (since we can’t throw them away, can we?). Everything we carry here at FIG + FREYA is chosen with passion - because passion feeds the fire - that fire that Freya fuels through sunrise and sunset.
