Ficus Elastica 'Tineke'
Native to tropical regions of India and Malaysia, Ficus Ruby 'Tineke' is a hardy, vibrant evergreen plant with green-yellow and white variegation. Care is similar to other rubber plants, but the variegation requires more light than the 'Burgundy' variety. It won't do well in low-light spaces, so place in bright indirect light.
Water to keep the soil moist at all times. Ficus elastica is a source of latex that is toxic to the skin, and poisonous if ingested, so pet owners and those allergic to latex should be cautious.
This plant comes in a 4" or 6" nursery pot.
Orders are shipped from our Southern California Greenhouse weekly on Monday, Tuesday, and occasionally Wednesday! Our fulfillment team checks the weather in your area and along your orders route to ensure it is safe to send.
All orders include weather insulation/heat packs free of charge based on the temperature requirements of your area. If temperatures are too high or too low, our team will hold your order until the following week(s) to ensure your order arrives safely to you!
