Caring for your Philodendron Birkin

Let's keep it short and sweet - no need to sift through a long intro about your plant or where it came from. It came from the store and was grown in a greenhouse - it has never once lived in a tropical rainforest or grown up the side of a tree - haha.

Philodendron Birkin Care

Water Needs: Water when the soil has dried out.

Humidity: 55 ˚F - 85˚F

Light Needs: Bright, indirect light. Low light will decrease variegation!

Soil: Use a potting mix that provides lots of drainage. Mix in ingredients like peat moss or perlite for added drainage.

Fertilizer: Once a week during growing season and once a month during winter.

Repotting: Once every 1-2 years on average.

Propagation: Stem cutting with a node

Toxicity: Can be toxic to humans or animals if large quantities of foliage are consumed.
